WebHT-2 toxin and T-2 toxin are both potent fungal toxins that affect crops under conditions of high humidity and temperatures of 6-24°C. These toxins are known to cause dermal necrosis, bloody diarrhea and affect production (weight gain, eggs, milk). Both toxins are formed by Fusarium species and mainly affect corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice and rye.
